Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon your arrival, our guide and staff will greet you at the airport and take you on a short drive to your hotel, located in a quieter area of the bustling city. After checking in and refreshing yourself, our guide will give you a brief introduction about the trek and provide all the necessary details. You will spend the night at a 3-star hotel.
Today, you’ll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, one of the most thrilling flights in the world, offering spectacular views of the mountains, including Mt. Everest. The flight may be diverted to Manthali Airport due to heavy traffic at Lukla during peak season. If this happens, you’ll drive to Manthali (about 4 hours), then take a 15-minute flight to Lukla. In the off-peak months, you’ll fly directly to Lukla from Kathmandu. Once in Lukla, the trek begins with an easy walk downhill through Sherpa villages and a forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak trees. After about 3 hours, you will reach Phakding, where you'll spend the night.
Today is a longer trek, but the scenery is incredible. You’ll follow the Dudh Kosi River upstream, cross several bridges, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. After passing the Monjo village, the path gradually climbs, offering stunning views of snow-capped peaks, until you reach Namche Bazaar, a lively Sherpa village. This will be your home for the night.
Acclimatization is key at this altitude, so today is a rest day. Take a scenic hike around Namche or visit the local shops and bakeries. Namche also hosts a colourful market every Saturday. For panoramic views, you can hike to Everest Hotel or the top of Namche Hill. If you're interested, visit the local museum to learn about the history of Everest and the Khumbu region.
Leaving Namche, you’ll follow a gradual and scenic path that eventually leads to an uphill climb through forests of rhododendron, pines, and firs. After a few hours of walking, you’ll arrive at the famous Tengboche Monastery, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Spend some time exploring the monastery, and observe the young monks chanting prayers. Tengboche is also known for its Mani-Rimdu festival in October.
Start the day with a short downhill trek to the Imjatse River, then follow a gradual uphill trail to Pangboche village. After a break, continue uphill to Somara for lunch, and finally reach Dingboche, which offers fantastic views of Ama Dablam's north face and the towering Island Peak.
Take another rest day to adjust to the altitude. You can go on a short hike to Nakarjung Hill for panoramic views of Mt. Makalu and the surrounding peaks. For the more adventurous, consider a trek to Chukung, a small settlement offering incredible views of Island Peak, Lhotse Shar, and other towering mountains.
Today’s trek starts with a short steep climb, followed by a gradual ascent towards Thugla for lunch. Afterward, the trail climbs steeply to the Thugla Pass, where you’ll find memorials honouring climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From here, it’s a scenic walk to Lobuche for the night.
Today is the highlight of your trek – reaching Everest Base Camp! After a few hours of walking, you'll arrive at base camp, where you can enjoy close-up views of the Khumbu Icefall and glaciers. After a memorable experience at the base camp, retrace your steps back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.
In the early morning, hike to the top of Kalapathar for stunning panoramic views of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. After soaking in the incredible scenery, descend to Gorakshep for breakfast, then head downhill to Thugla. From here, walk to Pheriche, where you’ll spend the night.
Today’s trek takes you back to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through beautiful landscapes, including Thyangboche Monastery. You’ll have time to enjoy the views and explore the area before continuing your descent to Namche for the night.
On your final trekking day, follow the same route to Phakding and then continue to Lukla. After some final climbs and descents, you’ll arrive in Lukla for your last night in the Khumbu region.
Catch a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Once in the city, the rest of the day is free for individual activities, such as shopping for souvenirs or simply relaxing after your adventurous trek.
On your final day in Nepal, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight home, taking with your unforgettable memories of your Everest Base Camp trek.
Note: Due to the unpredictable weather at Lukla, flights can sometimes be delayed or cancelled. We recommend having a couple of spare days in case of flight delays. This buffer will help ensure you don't miss your international flight and gives you a chance to relax or enjoy additional activities in Kathmandu.

Amazing guide to EBC on a 10 day Trek
2nd April, 2018
In October 2017 we trekked to EBC with Ram as our guide. We met Ram the day before our trek, where he gave us all the information we required before we left for our Lukla flight at 5am the next morning. Ram ensured as a tour group we were organised to ensure we made the first flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Attention to detail was paramount with Ram from the beginning, even advising us to sit on the Left side of the plane for the best views as we fly towards Lukla.
Once we landed in Lukla we took breakfast and as a group began to get to know each other, as for the next 10 days we became a team.
Ram consistently monitored our health throughout the trek to ensure we had the best experience along the journey, from testing spO2 levels to our diet and sleep, this assisted us all having a great trek. The continuous monitoring of us ensured symptoms of Altitude Sickness were dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
We could not have been any happier with Ram and his skills, we look forward to returning to Kathmandu to trek again with Ram in 2020 where we will complete a longer trek. Ram is amazing and highly regarded and anyone that treks with Ram will have an amazing and safe trek!!
Well done and thank you Ram!

Nice people and great experience - Everest Base Camp
2nd April, 2018
Dev was our first contact, extremely polite and diligent. Once in Kathmandu, we met Ram who is Dev's business partner and was our guide during the trek, he is extremely knowledgeable of the circuit and was very helpful during all the trip in Nepal. Both of them kept in touch with us we appreciate the warm welcome and goodbye to Nepal.
Additionally, Babu (i think is spelled like that) was a great porter and very attentive too.
So you can be sure by booking with them that you will have a great experience.
Regarding the landscape, much more beautiful in person than in photographs. The culture, completely different to what we are used to, and the people, particularly in the mountain area, is really kind.

Ram was our guide when I went for Everest Base Camp hike last year. He won our hearts right on the first day with his hospitality & good sense of humor. Through the hike he kept us all positivity encouraged. He made it a point to introduce us to some locals who had done Everest summit multiple times and always had good local tales to share during our hike. My daughter & husband went with him last month & experienced the same hospitality.
