The Everest Panorama Trek is a short yet spectacular Himalayan adventure offering stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the Khumbu Valley. Choosing the right season can greatly enhance your trekking experience. At Mountain Eco Treks, we recommend the best time for each season as follows:

This season is ideal for trekkers seeking clear mountain views and comfortable trekking conditions. Many travelers combine the Everest Panorama Trek with the Everest Base Camp Trek 14 - Days to enjoy both short and extended Himalayan adventures.
Autumn is widely considered the best overall trekking season in Nepal. After the monsoon, the air is crisp, visibility is excellent, and trails are dry and safe. It’s perfect for photography and for trekkers seeking cultural experiences, as local festivals add a unique touch. Autumn is ideal for the Everest Panorama Trek, and longer treks like the Gokyo Lake Trek offer magnificent high-altitude lakes and panoramic views.
Winter offers a quiet and serene trekking experience. Snow-capped peaks, fewer crowds, and clear skies make it perfect for photographers and travelers seeking solitude. Temperatures can drop significantly, and some trails may be icy, so Mountain Eco Treks recommends proper winter gear and warm clothing. Winter trekking is suitable for the Everest Panorama Trek or adventurous trekkers on the Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days, who enjoy peaceful trails and stunning snow-covered landscapes.
Monsoon trekking is less popular due to heavy rainfall, slippery trails, and occasional limited visibility, but it has its own charm. Valleys become lush, rivers flow abundantly, and the region is vibrant with greenery. Mountain Eco Treks recommends monsoon trekking only for experienced and adventurous trekkers. Even during this season, the Everest Panorama Trek can be rewarding, while treks like the Gokyo Lake Trek may be more challenging but offer a quiet and immersive Himalayan experience.

Spring (March–May): Highly recommended for all trekkers; perfect for clear views, mild temperatures, and colorful rhododendron forests. Ideal for combining with Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days.
Autumn (September–November): Highly recommended for stable weather, dry trails, excellent visibility, and cultural experiences. Ideal for both Everest Panorama Trek and Gokyo Lake Trek.
Winter (December–February): Recommended for experienced and adventurous trekkers seeking solitude, snow-covered peaks, and quiet trails. Suitable for Everest Panorama Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek 14 Days.
Monsoon (June–August): Recommended only for adventurous trekkers comfortable with rain, slippery trails, and lush green scenery. Everest Panorama Trek is manageable, while Gokyo Lake Trek is more challenging.

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner with cultural performance while receiving a detailed briefing about the upcoming Everest View Trek.
Begin your Everest adventure with an early morning scenic flight from Ramechhap to Lukla (2,820 m), offering stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival, meet your trekking crew and start your trek with a gentle descent along the Dudh Kosi River, passing through the charming villages of Chheplung and Ghat. Today’s trail is relatively easy, making it an ideal warm-up for the days ahead. Enjoy an overnight stay in the tranquil village of Phakding.
Please note: In October, November, March, and April, direct flights from Kathmandu to Lukla are often unavailable due to high demand and weather conditions. During these months, your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 2:00 AM and drive you to Ramechhap (Manthali Airport) for a safer and scenic flight to Lukla. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours along mostly paved, winding roads with occasional rough patches.
Today’s trek is longer and more challenging as you follow the river upstream, crossing several suspension bridges decorated with prayer flags. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, the trail gradually climbs through rhododendron and pine forests. The final two-hour uphill section is steep but rewarding as you arrive at Namche Bazaar, the lively heart of the Sherpa region with colorful markets, cafés, and excellent mountain views.
Spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar, an ideal spot to explore Sherpa culture and enjoy short hikes. A popular excursion is the hike to the Everest View Hotel (3,880 m), one of the highest luxury hotels in the world, offering sweeping vistas of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. After enjoying the views, return to Namche to visit the Sherpa Museum or relax in one of the town’s cozy cafés.
Retrace your steps from Namche Bazaar, descending along forested trails, suspension bridges, and river valleys. Pass through Monjo and Phakding villages before making the final climb back to Lukla. This marks the end of your trekking adventure in the Everest region. Celebrate your success with your team in Lukla during the final evening in the Khumbu.
After breakfast in Lukla, board a short morning flight of 10–15 minutes to Ramechhap (Manthali Airport). During the peak trekking months of October, November, March, and April, direct flights to Kathmandu are generally unavailable, making this route the most reliable and safest option.
Upon arrival in Ramechhap, our team will drive you to Kathmandu (approximately 4–5 hours) along scenic hilly roads, passing terraced fields, flowing rivers, and quaint villages. You will reach Kathmandu by late afternoon or early evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy a well-deserved relaxing evening after your trek.
Your Everest Panorama Trek comes to an end today. After breakfast, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Himalayan landscapes, Sherpa culture, and the breathtaking views of Everest.

Dev went out of his way to help!
20th December, 2022
I would not go back to Nepal without contacting this company and Dev first. I was only trekking to Namche Bazaar, yet having Dev along was a huge help. Not only did we not get lost, but we also arrived safely. He also went out of his way to help me in a situation that came up. He also took us to see Mt. Everest from the Everest View hotel, which was an out-of-the-way hike. I can honestly say, I would not have made it to Namche Bazaar, and I definitely would not have seen Mt. Everest if Dev had not been along. I would definitely recommend this company, but especially having Dev as your guide.

A great view of Everest
20th December, 2022
I had the chance to do part of the Everest trail, flying into Lukla, an experience in itself. Dev took us on a hike all the way to Namche Bazaar, his knowledge and expertise were invaluable. Trekking in the Himalayas does take some effort, and it is important to give safety due consideration, having Dev leading us was invaluable. My travelling companion did suffer from slight altitude sickness, Dev kept a careful eye on how he was doing, while getting us to our destination.
If you want to see Everest, then I would defiantly recommend Dev.

Nepal hiking
30th November, 2017
Not much words needed to give Dev a review. We still look back at the absolute best guide we have ever had. Dev is a real expert, very gentle and adjusts his pace to the audience in front of him. We did a 5 day eco trekking which we really liked. Without Dev our Nepal experience would not have been such a succes.
